The ships will be berthed in our inner harbour, in the midst of the cities everyday life, and in walking distance from almost everything.
In 2011 Stavanger will again be an experience of a lifetime for the crews, a beneficial happening for the participating ships, with a fabulous background for media coverage and the perfect frame for sponsor activities.
Shanties & sea songs
This song tradition was brought forward by the first rock `n` rollers ever; the young and tough sailors from the great days of sail! We will do an effort to give the ship’s crew an opportunity to become more familiar with this song tradition, and hopefully encourage more shanty-singing ships for the future. Hey ho, lets go!
